Holiday Shopping: Hawaii Small Shop Edition

Are you a shop year-around type of person that slowly gathers items for holiday gifts? Do you do Black Friday (in person or online)? Or do you wait until the last minute hoping to score some great deals?

Whatever the case may be you have 48 days til Christmas. Yup 48 days. And if you are shipping gifts it's more like 40 days (First class mail USPS deadline is Dec 20)! Where did 2019 go? I feel like it we were just ringing in the New Year!

Over the years I have moved away from shopping at the big box retailers and have supported small local shops. Why? Because I know the work and dedication that these owners put into their products. I like knowing that the money I spend goes back into the local economy. Plus, I love the fact that I can gift some gear that isn't made in the huge bulk numbers that larger retail chains and brands can afford to do.

Baby Gifts:

Now aside from shopping in my store for clothes for my own kids to give, I usually like to gift items from some other local small shops! These hard working mamas are some of the best mom bosses I know! There are so many to choose from and I hope I'm not forgetting anyone!

While we all sell baby items, we all have our unique take on them and offer something a little different!

Casey is currently on maternity leave (if you try to look at her website) but you can catch her at the Oh Baby! Family Expo Nov 2-3 with the cutest little baby moccasins and boys euro swim shorts! Follow her on IG for any upcoming sales!

Healani and Tanya are two hard working mamas are the best! They are one of the first set of mamas I met in the small shop world and they design, create, and screen print their own tees! When Kalei and Kili aren't repping my shop, they are usually wearing Short Stack tees!

I love Giselle and her shop! We always get something for Kalei when we see her at events. She was the first small shop we ever bought from!

Our shops sometimes will get mixed up but we aren't the same team! Naleisha and I go back all the way to high school days when we ran cross country together. She screen prints all her tees herself and I'm not sure where she finds the time! We love her "one bag rice" onesie!
