Started at the
dining table.
Leilani started The Keiki Dept sewing at her dining table and carried her machine back and forth to her grandma's house to sew some more. While she doesn't sew every piece anymore, every print is a plant, animal or place from Hawaiʻi, and every one comes with its story.
"Picked up 6 of them when we were in Kauai at a local surf shop and have ordered online twice since we returned home. Super soft, and they wash up well. Even my teenagers beg to use them as a light lap blanket."

What are my VIP perks?
Two perks. First, free gifts when you join and shop before the sale. Spend $75 for a mystery gift, $150 to add the Canoe Plants Memory Game, or $200 to get the cooler bag too. Second, 25% off the shop during early access, Fri Nov 13 at 8am to Sun Nov 15 at 8pm HST. The free gifts and the 25% off can't be used on the same order.
Is the Chee Hoo Friday sale (Nov 13 to 15) 25% off everything?
Almost. Our Early Black Friday sale takes 25% off the shop for VIPs, Fri Nov 13 at 8am to Sun Nov 15 at 8pm HST. Gift cards and our new holiday drops, Paisley Palapalai, the Kalo Kini collab and the BUJOBAE collab, are full price. Those drops won't restock. The Canoe Plants game will come back, but this misprint run is the only one at $20.
When should I order for Christmas?
Shipping to the mainland? Ground Advantage is taking 10+ days, so choose Priority Mail by December 14. Local pickup at our Waiau warehouse in Pearl City is available, but orders need to be picked up within a week since space is tight. Not sure you can make it? Choose shipping at checkout.
The fine print
The 25% off Early Black Friday sale is for VIP Hui only and runs Fri Nov 13, 8am HST to Sun Nov 15, 8pm HST. It excludes our new holiday drops, Paisley Palapalai, the Kalo Kini collab and the BUJOBAE collab, and gift cards. Free gifts apply to one order placed at regular prices with your VIP code, one use per customer, while supplies last. Free gifts are not part of the Nov 13 to 15 sale. Gift thresholds count your merchandise total before shipping and tax. Free shipping is USPS Ground Advantage within the US.
